This year the national speaker is Ami Simms, she will be doing a different lecture each day. There is also a tractor ride, car show, amazing quilt related vendors, at least 300 quilts are entered plus vendor quilts adding up easily to 500+.

Iowa Rural Schools Museum and Outdoor Classroom

Memorial Day opening of the Iowa Rural Schools Museum of Odebolt is May 29th from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Regular hours commence with openings on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 4:00, Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 to 4:00. During Creek Days we will be open on Friday, June 16th from 4:30 to 6:30, Saturday, June 17th from 8:30 to 4:00 (closed for the parade); and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00.

Black Hawk Lake
The Arctic Open Golf Tournament is staged on the first Saturday in February on ice-covered Black Hawk Lake. This unique annual event brings many locals and visitors to the area outdoors to enjoy a game of golf in the winter!
